HANDICAPS
Handicapping adds considerably to the pleasure of golfers, making it possible for players of differing
abilities to compete equitably. We all joined ASGA to meet people and have fun. Since we play in
organized team-driven events, doesn't it make sense to maintain an official handicap. Handicaps are
used as tools in pairing teams, and they are necessary for equitable scoring.
Tampa ASGA encourages its members to establish a handicap Index and post scores regularly.
The desire to lower your handicap can be a great incentive.
The cost is $15.00. This covers your handicap service from January 2013 to December 2013.
You can pay online or pay at the meetings or send it in to:

The fastest, easiest, and preferred method of reporting your scores is for you to do it yourself online. To post online go to www.fsga.org, click on Handicaps, click on Post your score online. Each person logs in with his/her GHIN# and last name. Then just fill in the information about the golf round. If you have trouble entering your score, email me at ediesen@aol.com. I will try to help you with the web page. If you have a smart phone you will be interested to know for most models there is a free app download which will put you directly into the GHIN web page and also show your handicap and using your index calculate the real handicap for the course.
If you have a GHIN Handicap from another club, I need your GHIN number
and the name of the club in orderto keep accurate records.
